Luxury Hilton Head Spa FAQ

This is a place where scents free the mind, melodies inspire the spirit and massage nourishes the soul. This is a place where your senses are your guide, in this place, everything else falls away and all that’s left is you. Amidst the palmetto-lined boardwalks, winding through lush gardens, serene fountains and enchanting lagoons rests a heavenly oasis.

Reservations

We encourage our guests to schedule their appointments five to seven days in advance to ensure your preferred treatment or therapist is available. Preferences for male or female therapists should be requested at the time of the booking. All reservations must be secured with a major credit card and telephone number. To schedule your appointment(s), please call our guest service desk at 843-681-1019. Westin Hotel in-house guests touch 7519.

Arrival & Check-In Procedure

For the optimal experience, we recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time so that you may relax and enjoy our luxurious locker room and relaxation lounge amenities.

Take Time

Give yourself plenty of time so you can enjoy the steam, sauna or women’s whirlpool prior to your services. This will relax and warm the muscles, which will aid in the therapeutic benefits of all our treatments and services.

Late Arrivals

Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may require us to shorten the length of the treatment, with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience other guests. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments.

Treatment Attire

Unless the service description specifies otherwise, it is customary to wear just your robe to your service. You will be given the opportunity to disrobe and cover yourself in privacy. Throughout your services, your body will be draped with linens and at no time during your treatment will you be fully exposed.

Shower

A quick shower just before your massage or treatment is relaxing and washes off any salts, minerals or chemicals that could clog pores when mixed with oils or other treatment products.

Communication

Prior to the start of your service, tell your therapist the areas you would like to focus on, and any areas to be avoided. During your service, let the therapist know if you feel any discomfort. Communication is the key to getting what you want out of your Heavenly Spa by Westin experience. Keep in mind that all bodywork is similar to exercise in that, lactic acid and other toxins are released from the muscles. This may cause some soreness for up to a few days.

Let Go

Close your eyes and allow your mind to be free. Breathe deeply and let the tension slip away with each breath. Remember, this is time for you.

Gratuities

For your convenience, a 20% gratuity will be added to all services. Note, this gratuity is adjustable upon checkout, based on your satisfaction with services received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of your appointment and 48 hours before any combination of services. A 50% charge will apply to all late cancellations. No shows will be charged in full.

Gift Certificates

Give the gift of priceless serenity and stress relief to someone you care about. Heavenly Spa by Westin gift certificates are perfect for any occasion and are available for individual treatments, spa or bridal packages or predetermined denominations.

Heavenly Spa by Westin Policies

The Heavenly Spa by Westin is a non-smoking environment.

Guests of the Heavenly Spa by Westin must be at least 18 years of age. Salon treatments are available for guests under 18 with parental supervision.

For the courtesy of our guests, cellular phone and pager use is prohibited within the spa premises.

We request that all valuables are stored in your room or locker provided for you at the time of your service. The Westin and The Heavenly Spa by Westin are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced items.

All spa treatment prices are subject to change without notification. Our spa coordinators will assist you with any pricing inquiries you may have at the time of your reservation.
